BIOS - User Definable

The BIOS - USER DEFINABLE option is used to allow the user to specify the type of hard drive in the system. If you have either a non-Plug and Play BIOS or a non-Plug and Play hard drive, you will have to enter the hard disk number of Cylinders, number of Heads, number of Sectors, Pre-Compensation, Landing Zone and Mode in the CMOS setup for the hard drive. The BIOS will accept these numbers if you select 'USER' as the 'TYPE' hard drive.
